Testimonials

ACA was truly a life changing experience. I did not expect to go from a “would love to someday be a life coach” to actually coaching real clients with confidence and knowledge in only five weeks. I gained actionable, practical, and empowering information in every session of classes and feel that the network of friends and coaches I have been connected with as a result of my association with this program are truly the foundation of my success now and moving forward. This course is worth every penny!
If you are serious about wanting to be a Coach, please take the training with ACA Academies. This training program has been put together with careful thought and consideration, and you’ll be able to see the intention from your very first training session. After completing the training program, I walked away with deep knowledge of the principles of coaching, improved confidence in myself and my abilities, a plan to complete my ICF certification, and a plan to launch my business. If you are serious about coaching, this is the program for you!
I highly recommend this training to anyone who is overwhelmed from looking into other programs and feeling like they wouldn’t get the return on their investment. This program is educational and very interactive. It allows you the freedom to grow and learn from one another. Liz is a true professional and so knowledgeable you can truly learn so much from her! I am so appreciative and grateful to have taken this program!
I was lost. I knew I wanted to change my life and become a life coach. I was looking for different schools but nothing worked out. Then I found Liz. This program has helped me spread my wings and become a confident coach. The support Liz gives us amazing. The course is amazing and that’s because Liz is an amazing beautiful soul. I highly recommend ACA Academics to those who want that professional yet personal touch.
Elizabeth is a supportive mentor who wants her students to achieve well. She is professional and organised in her approach. She provides positive and constructive feedback on the observed coaching sessions and she is very understanding of each person’s needs.
I believed I was born to be a coach and like many of us some things come naturally. Liz and this program allowed my natural gift to flourish through learning the skills to be an effective coach.
Elizabeth Bentley, director of ACA Coach Academies, is a fantastic teacher and ICF skilled coach. Her candid and knowledgeable attitude has made the training both fascinating and enjoyable. All the knowledge I needed to be effective in coaching was delivered in a very structured manner that was easy to understand and maintain. I would highly suggest ACA Coach Academies to those interested in learning about and becoming a licensed professional coach to meet ICF standards. This program and Liz has changed my life!!
I completed my training with ACA and Elizabeth Bentley in December 2020. It is was a delightful process. The education and training were of the highest standard and as a student I feel honored to have done the training with her. The standards and requirement of ICF was constantly held up high to all the students and the partnership between ACA and ICF was demonstrated at all times. As a coach and trainer Elizabeth Bentley came across as very accomplished and her communication with and training of the students were exceptional. The atmosphere during the training were very friendly, kind and professional. I would highly recommend the course to anyone that want to be trained in the core competencies of the coaching profession in a professional manner. Well done ACA and Elizabeth Bentley!
I enrolled in ACA Coach Academies 5 week coaching program and it was an amazing experience! Liz is such a great Instructor, Coach, and person. It is obvious how much time and thought she put into designing this program. It’s also clear that she believes in the power of coaching. I would highly recommend ACA Coach Academies to anyone interested in becoming a Coach (and I already have).
The Level 2 program, taught by Elizabeth Bentley, was a transformative program that far exceeded my expectations. I not only gained the skills and confidence to coach at a higher level, but also a deeper understanding of myself as a coach. The learning experience rivals that of a graduate program in terms of teaching, quality, impact, and community. Yet, it is far more inclusive and could appeal to new or experienced coaches of any age or background. I highly recommend this program to anyone, at any level, serious about coaching and looking for a truly transformative experience.

The program was brilliantly designed with five components — live sessions, peer coaching, individual mentoring, group mentoring, and projects — which ensured that we were constantly building our competencies as coaches. This comprehensive blend of theory, practical application, and real-world scenarios challenged me to think differently, to push beyond my comfort zone, and to refine my coaching presence. It included both foundational coaching concepts and advanced techniques that truly elevated my coaching capabilities. I gained the knowledge I needed to successfully pass the ICF credentialing exam on my first attempt

The small cohort format was expertly facilitated to create a safe space for meaningful exchange in our group sessions, which included smaller breakout rooms. Additional exchanges happened outside the classroom among our classmates, which provided additional, helpful support and peer discussion.

What sets this program apart is its focus on the art of coaching, not just the technical aspects. The emphasis on emotional intelligence, intuition, and deep listening has allowed me to engage with coachees on a far more meaningful level. The focus on building competencies and the requirement to do applied project work were crucial in helping me develop my confidence through coaching. As part of the course, I designed coaching tools that I later used in sessions with coachees, and I had a safe space and community with whom to discuss experiences and strategies to reiterate to improve. This was invaluable.

The interactive nature of the program — with masterful teaching, hands-on coaching practice, insightful peer feedback — helped me integrate the skills into my own style while staying grounded in the ICF Core Competencies. In the group mentoring sessions, we shared and reviewed with each other video examples of our own coaching. These provided a supportive environment for honest peer feedback and for students to develop a solid understanding of the core competencies as they relate to different coaching scenarios. This was excellent preparation for the ICF credentialing exam.

It is important to remember that coaching hours happen outside the classroom and need to be factored into one’s personal time plan and commitment. This Level 2 program is more than just an educational journey — it’s a powerful, life-changing investment in yourself and your future as a coach.
